Insurance Brokers Association of New Brunswick

The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is the national trade organization which brings together eleven regional associations of independent property and casualty insurance brokers in Canada. These associations represent approximately 28,400 brokers throughout the country.

The functions of the Insurance Brokers Association of New Brunswick include a leadership role in the insurance industry's consultation process with government as well as licensing courses and education programs on a regional basis.

Insurance Institute of New Brunswick

The Insurance Institute of Canada is the professional education arm of the general insurance industry. It is a not-for-profit association of 33,000 individual members employed in the general insurance business with insurance and reinsurance companies, brokerages, agencies, adjusting firms, and employers of risk managers.

The Insurance Institute of New Brunswick is the delivery channel for local insurance education services; it works with community colleges, universities and employers to arrange classes for the General Insurance Essentials, Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), and Fellowship programs. The chapter organizes seminars, workshops, and luncheons on topics of interest to the insurance community.
